Project Experience: Antimicrobial Product

We have been working very closely with a client over the past few months to evaluate the performance of antimicrobials in foam and vinyl.  This company was having complaints of pink staining, caused by an Actinomycete (Streptoverticillium reticulum), appearing on their textiles used on boats. Testing started with field samples and continued with new product samples, in the hopes that they could come up with a suitable antimicrobial combination.  They have been very satisfied with our business methods, from our conference calls to the reporting of results in a timely manner. Testing is continuing and the results are demonstrating an increased efficacy of the antimicrobial infused textiles.
